I was always a little fat rather healthy looking as described by my well wishers and people who were scared of my wrath. To the extent people expected that I might have a c-section because they thought i was healthy looking. If I was healthy looking, I should have had a normal ..according to their logic...
Now much to some people's dismay and most people's astonishment I am much fitter than I was pre maternity or post marriagehood.
Post marriage I tried aerobics, jogging on road (only to be followed by dogs), yoga etc. it made me flexible, but did not result in weight loss , least inch loss.
How did this happen now then..
I joined back work after maternity. I was 2 kms away from office. But it was not a walkable distance, so my hubby got me a geared bicycle to commute. This proved a blessing a disguise.
It saved me from daily auto haggles, money and time.
Morever, I gradually built stamina, because however uphill it is you have ride on, pushing the bicycle was a no option for me....
Then i could see considerable results. Laong with this I added 30 min cardio - treadmill at office gym..
This worked wonders... Earlier I could not run 5 mins continously.
Because i built stamina, i could run for 30 mins and burn 300 calories a day..
Thus I lost 14 kilos in 7 mnths...am still losing..
I myself wonder how I could do this when I was at my fattest, I had to save every minute to rush back home to hug my little son...
